8/8/2026 Saturday 5:31pm. I am a regular customer at Lazy Boba and frequently order the same Thai tea smoothie for myself and my son for pickup. I ordered my usual Thai tea smoothie with regular tapioca and coffee jelly. After taking about three sips, I noticed that I had received coconut jelly instead of coffee jelly. I brought the drink back and explained the mistake. Coconut does not agree with my stomach, so receiving coconut jelly was not a minor issue for me. While they were correcting the order, I noticed an employee in the back taking a strainer. I wasn’t sure what they were doing, so when my drink was brought back, I specifically asked whether it had been completely remade or whether the original drink had been strained. The employee confirmed that it had not been remade. So the original smoothie had been strained and put into a new cup, with new tapioca and coffee jelly added. Unfortunately, there was still some coconut jelly remaining in the drink. My smoothie came back as a regular drink with coconut jelly and coffee jelly…🥲 I understand that mistakes happen, but my concern is how the drink was handled after I had already received it and taken several sips from it.

I work on the road and often by myself, so I’m always looking for places where I can set up a quick 30-minute mobile office. Whenever possible, I try to support local businesses instead of chain coffee shops. Today I stopped in while passing through, and I’m glad I did. My jasmine green tea with almond milk and boba was excellent, the staff was friendly, the space was very clean, and the music was at a comfortable volume. There were plenty of tables for eating or getting a little work done. The only downside for me was the workspace setup. My laptop needed to be plugged in, and the only available outlet was in an inconvenient location that wasn’t near the regular tables. Since I only needed about 30 minutes, working from a coffee table was fine, but it wouldn’t have been comfortable for a longer work session. Overall, I really enjoyed the shop and would absolutely come back. If you don’t need to plug in your laptop, it’s a great place to relax, enjoy a drink, or get some work done. If you need a powered workspace for an extended period, it may not be the ideal setup.

I’ve gone here since it opened. It started good and like most businesses grows complacent in a lot. I’ve ordered the same 2-3 drinks every time I visit. The last two visits have been disappointing to where I no longer desire to visit. It’s always the same one making my drink that has continued to mess my order up. Last time orders the drink was suppose to be hot, it wasn’t, & no additives included (when I order the same drink the same way every time). This time around I got the drink, not hot again. I know If I don’t speak I can’t solve a problem but I have on two other occasions. But once again the same person and the same complacency when it comes to attention. I’m not one to complain much but it’s been so many times I’m just over it no matter how quality a place starts out at😞

My stepdaughter and I stopped by Lazy Boba for an after school treat and it was such a nice stop. It’s a really cozy, cute place, and the vibe is relaxed and comfortable. 😎 We both ordered the Tiger Sugar milk tea with boba and it was so good. You can really taste the caramelized brown sugar flavor. Sweet, creamy, and just really enjoyable without being overwhelming. Simple, good drinks and a spot we’ll definitely visit again. 😊
